High-tech
meets history at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab! Kids ages 9-11 are invited to
join us for a treasure hunt on the sandy beaches of Dauphin Island. We'll
use GPS (Global Positioning System) technology to hunt for buried treasure while
learning about the history and ecology of the Island. Campers will also get to test their survival skills; building and testing a life raft to escape the island, just like a ship-wrecked pirate! This day-long
adventure will take place on the above dates from 9am - 4pm. Cost is $50 per student - they'll join in the adventure, receive a
t-shirt, Estuarium pass, buried treasure, snacks and a certificate of
participation. Please pack a lunch for your camper, and don't forget a refillable water bottle and sunscreen!
